Chapter VI ACQUISITION AND DISPOSAL OF LAND

Power to make rules
- (1) The State Government may, by notification, make rules to carry out the purposes of this Act.
- (2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:—
- (a) the allowances and fees to be paid to the nominated Directors under sub-section
- (3) of section 6;
- (b) the conditions of appointment and service of the Managing Director under clause
- (a) of sub-section
- (3) of section 12;
- (c) the rates at which, and the persons on whom, development cost, fees or service charges may be levied under section 17;
- (d) the form of the annual financial statement and the programme of work under section 26;
- (e) the form of, and the manner of, maintaining the accounts of the Corporation under section 27;
- (f) any other matter which is to be or may be prescribed under this Act.
- (3) All rules made under this Act shall, as soon as may be after they are made, be laid before the State Legislature for a total period of fourteen days which may be comprised in one or more sessions and if during the said period the State Legislature makes modifications, if any, therein, the rules shall thereafter have effect only in such modified form, so, however, that such modification shall be without prejudice to the validity of anything previously done under the rules.
