Revised assent of the Governer on the 26th May 1953, first published in an extraordinary issue of the Orissa Gazette, dated the 5th June 1953.

AN ACT TO SUPPLEMENT CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE EVACUEE INTEREST (SEPARATION) ACT, 1951 IN ITS APPLICATION TO THE STATE OF ORISSA

Whereas it is expedient to supplement certain provisions of the Evacuee Interest (Separation) Act, 1951 in its application to the State of Orissa;

It is hereby enacted as follows:

1. (1) This Act may be called the Orissa Evacuee Interest (Separation) Supplementary Act. 1953.
2. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Orissa.
3. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 15th day of June, 1952.

The Evacuee Interest (Separation) Act, 1951 shall so far as it relates to any matter enumerated in List 11 in the Seventh Schedule to the Constitution be as valid in the State of Orissa as if it had been passed by the Legislature of the State of Orissa.
