The Khondmals Laws Regulation (Repeal) Act, 1985
1. title and commencement.
(1) This Act may be called the Kbondmals Laws Regulation (Repeal) Act, 1985 (2) This section shall come into force atonce and the remaining provisions of this Act shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification appoim in this behalf.
2. Repeal of Regulation 4 of 1936.
The Khondmals Laws Regulation, 1936 is hereby repealed
3. Removal of doubts.
For removal of doubts it IS herebydeclaredthat notwithsanding the repeal of the said Regulation an enactments specified in the Schedulethereto which were in force immediately prior to the commenccment of this Act in the areascomprising the district as defined in the said Regulation; shall continue in force in the said areas untill altered or repealed, or amended by a competent legiSlature qr ccmpetent authority.
4. Ammdmeit of Section 3_ of the Orissa Agt. 22 of 3963
In section 3 of the Orissa Revenue(Units) Act, 1963the proviso under clause(b) Orisu shall be deleted.
