The Finance Committee

(1) The Finance committee shall consist of,— (a) the Vice-Chancellor of the University who shall be the ex officio Chairman; (b) the Registrar who shall be the ex officio Secretary; (c) the Comptroller of Finance; and (d) such other members as may be prescribed. (2) The Finance Committee shall be the principal financial body of the University to take care of financial matters and shall, subject to the provisions of this Act., Statutes and Rules, co-ordinate and exercise general supervisions over the financial matters of the University and shall exercise such other powers and perform such other functions as may be prescribed. (3) The term of office of the members other than the ex-officio members shall be three years.
