Exemptions

The provisions under section 3 shall not apply to,—

1. (a) Such universities, institutions of excellence, research institutions, institutions of State or national importance or any other institutions as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, specify; and
2. (b) Promotions and transfers of teachers in State Public Universities unless otherwise notified, by the State Government.
