The Odisha Medical Education Service (Appointment of Junior Teachers) Validation Act, 1993

The orissa Medical education Service (appointment of Junior Teachers) Validation Act, 1993 makes legally valid the appointments of forty-nine Junior Teachers who served on an ad hoc basis from 1980-1981. These teachers were selected from Assistant Surgeons and stationed in Medical Colleges without following all procedures under the Recruitment Rules. The Act allows these appointments to be treated as properly executed, preventing any court challenges based on procedural irregularities. Additionally, it establishes the seniority order for these teachers based on their respective dates of appointment to ensure proper career progression within the service.
