Removal as Chairperson/Member of the Commission

A person can be removed as Chairperson/ Member of the Commission, if:-

1. (a) in the opinion of the Government, he/she has abused his position as Chairperson/ Member as to render his/her continuance in the office detrimental to the public interest;
2. (b) the Chairperson or Member of the Commission shall be removed on grounds of proved misbehaviour or incapacity, after such enquiry as may be prescribed;
