Term of the Council

Statutory text
(1) The term of the council shall be for a period of 5 years: (2) Provided that in the event of delay in the constitution of the new Council, the existing Council may continue for a period of six months from the date of expiry of term or till the reconstitution of new Council whichever is earlier.
