0. Preamble
The Nagaland Speaker Salaries & Allowances (Amendment) Act, 1999. (Act. No. 10 of 1999)
Received the assent of the Government of Nagaland on 17/07/1999 and published intheNagaland Gazette Extraordinary dated :22ndof September, 1999.
Where it is expedient to amend the Nagaland Speaker's salaries and allowances act, 1964 (Nagaland act No. 5 of 1964) in the manner here under a pp earing:
It is hereby enacted in the Fiftieth year oftheRepublic ofIndia as follows
2. AMENDMENT OF SECTION 2
Section 2 of the Nagaland Speaker's salaries and allowances act 1964 (Nagaland Act No. 4 of 1964)' shall be substituted by the following as hereunder :
3. There shall be paid to the Speaker fo the Nagaland Legislative Assembly a salary of rupees Nine thousand per Mensen.
AMENDMENT OFSECTION 4 Sub-section(2) of section 4 ofthe PriilcipalAct shallbe deleted.
4. AMENDMENT OFSECTION 9
Section 9 of the Principal Act shall be substituted by the following as hereunder :
The Speaker shall be entitled to an entertainment allowance of rupees two thousand five hundred per mensem.
I. SHORT TITLE AND COMMENCEMENT.
- (i) This act may called the NAGALAND SPEAKER'S SALARIES AND ALLOWANCES (AMENDMENT)ACT, 1999
- (ii) It shall come into force on such date as the state Government may by notification in official gazette appoint.
