1. Short title, extent, and commencement

(a) This Act may be called the Nagaland Municipal (Amendment) Act, 2024. (b) it shall extend to the whole of Nagaland. (c) it shall conle into force at once.
2. Amendment to Section 10 (3) and Section 22(4)
Statutory text
In Section 10(3) and Section 22(4) of the Nagaland Municipal Act, 2023, the words “ one- fIfth shall be substituted by the word one- third”.
