Be itenactedby theNagaland Legislative Assemblyinthe sixtiethyear of the Republic ofIndiaasfollows:-

1. (1) ThisAct may be called the Nagaland Fiscal Responsibilityand Budget Management (Amendment)Act, 2009.
2. (2) Itshallcome intoforcewithimmediateeffect. 2. Amendmentof Section9:Section 9 clause2 sub-clause (IT)of the principal Act shall be substituted by the following:- "strive to bring down fiscal deficit to 3.5%of project Gross State DomesticProduct (GSDP)by the ending 31" March 2010."
