Power to make rules -

1. (1) The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, make rules for carrying out the provisions of this Act.
2. (2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power under sub-section (1), such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters namely:-
   • (a) salaries and allowances payable to and other terms and conditions of services of the Chairman, Members, Officers and other employees of the Commission;
   • (b) allowances for attending meeting of the Commisson by the co-opted members of the Commission;
   • (c) allowances and other benefits payable to other officers engaged for duties under sub-section
   • (a) and '(bjofsection9oftheAct;.
   • (d) the form of the budget of the Commission and the manner of preparing the same;
   • (e) the summoning and holding of the meeting of the Commission, the time and place, conduct of such meeting and the number of members necessary to form a quorum thereof;
   • (f) the power and function of the Secretary of the Commission;
   • (g) any other matter which is required to be or may be prescribed.
3. (3) Every Rule made under this Act shall, as soon as possible after it is made be laid before the Legislative Assembly of Mizoram.
