It also updates various official allowances, including sumptuary, family, entertainment, and daily allowances, while raising the annual medical reimbursement ceiling to two lakh rupees and removing geographic restrictions on travel coverage. By enhancing these pay structures and benefits, the legislation ensures that the state legislative leaders receive financial compensation aligned with their official duties and rising living costs.
