The Mizoram Salaries, Allowances and Pension of Member of the Legislative Assembly (Fifth Amendment) Act, 2011
This legislation amends the rules governing the compensation and benefits for Members of the Legislative Assembly in Mizoram. It substantially increases the monthly salary to forty thousand rupees and updates daily allowance rates for travel within and outside the state. The act also raises constituency, contingency, and family allowances to better support elected representatives. - 1. Short Title and (1) This Act may be called the Mizoram Salaries, Allowances and Pension commencement of Member of the Legislative Assembly (Fifth Amendment) Act, 2011.
