Cognizance and trial of offences

(1) No prosecution for an offence under this Ordinance shall be instituted except by or with the written consent of the Chairman, Mizoram Ground Water Authority or a person authorized in this behalf by the Ground Water Authority. (2) No Court inferior to that of a Magistrate of First Class shall try any offence under this Ordinance.
