This Act amends the Assam (Sales of Petroleum and Petroleum Products, including Motor Spirit and Lubricants) Taxation Act, 1955 as it applies in Meghalaya. It inserts a new section 3A and new sections 15A and 15B, the latter treated as always having been part of the Act, dealing with the tax on sales of petroleum products.
