Statutory text
- (1) If any difficulty arises in giving effect to any provisions of this Act, the Government may, by an order, do anything not in consistent with the provisions of this Act , which appears to it to be necessary to remove such difficulty: Provided that no order under this section shall be made after the expiry of a period of two years from the date of commencement of this Act.
- (2) Every order made under this section shall, as soon as after it is made, be laid before the Legislative Assembly of Meghalaya.
