Short title, extent, application and commencement

Short title, extent, application and commencement. 1 .(1) This Act may be called the Lokayukta Act, 2014.

1. (2) It extends to the whole of Meghalaya.
2. (3) It shall apply to public servant.
3. (4) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
