further to amend the Shri Govindaji Temple Act, 1972 (Manipur Act No. 12 of 1972).

BE it enacted bythe Legislature of Manipur inthe Fifty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows :—

Govindaji Temple (Second Amendment) Act, 2000.

1. (2) 1t shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.

Act, 1972 (hereinafter referred to as the Act), for the words “Shri Govindaji” in the title of the Act and whereverit occurs, the words “Shri Shri Govindaji” shall be substituged.

1. (0) in sub-section (1), for the words “nine other members”, the Words “twelve other members” shall be substituted;
   • (if) in subsection (4), for the words “The State Government shall appeint the other nine members”, the words “The State Government shall, in such manner as may be prescribed, appoint twelve other i members” shall be substifuted.
