Be it enacted by the Legislature of Manipur in the Forty-seventh year of the Republic of India as follows:

Chairman of the State Planning Committee (Manipur) Second Amendment Act, 1996.

1. (2) It shall come into force at once.

Chairman” and “Committee” in the long title and wherever they occurred in the Salaries and Allowances of the Vice-Chairman of the State Planning Committee (Manipur) Act, 1972 (hereinafter referred to as the Act), the words “Deputy

Validation—Notwithstanding anything contained in the Act, the appointment of any person as the Deputy Chairman, State Planning Board or anything done or any action taken, before the commencement ‘of this Act, shall be deemed to have been appointed or done or taken under this Act.

Chairman of the State Planning Committee (Manipur) Second Amendment and Validation Ordinance, 1996 (Manipur Ordinance No.2 of 1996) is hereby repealed. 2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done Of any action taken under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been dome or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act.
