Substitution of section 3

For section 3 of the Salaries and Allowances of Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly (Manipur) Act, 1972 (hereinafter referred to as the Act), the following shall be substituted, namely,— “3. Salaries and allowances of Speaker.—The Speaker shall be paid such salary and allowances as are provided for a Minister other than the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of State under the Salaries and Allowances of the Ministers (Manipur) Act, 1972.”
