BE it enacted by the Legislature of Manipur in the

Twenty-eighth .Year of Republic of India as follows”:

Third1. Amendment)(1) This ActAct,may1977.be called the Police (Manipur

Short title

& commencement.

1. (2) It shall come into force at once.

In section 34 of the Police Act, 1861, the following proviso inserted by the Police (Manipur Second Amendment) Act, 1976 after clause Eighth, shall be omitted, namely,— "Provided that notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, an offence under clause Sixth shall be non-bailable.".
