BE it enacted by the Legislature of Manipur in the Thirty-foarth Year of the Republic of Indiz as follows :

1. (1) This Act may be ealled the Manipur Secondary Educa- hort title tion alia Amendment) Act, 1983. and om

Q It shall be deemed to have come into force on the day of Sth May, 1983. }

2. In section 5 of the Manipur Secondary Education Act, 1972 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in sub-section 2, the words “be appointed by the State Government who shall also” shall be omitted.
