Addition of new section 7A

After section 7 of the principal Act, the following new section shall be added, namely,— “Protection of action taken in good faith. 7A. No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Government or the Revenue Commissioner or the competent authority in respect of anything which is in good faith done in pursuance of this Act or of any rules or orders made thereunder.”.
