Definitions

In this Act unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context:-

1. (a) “Assets” means all immovable assets vest in the municipalities;
2. (b) “Municipality” means an institution of self-government constituted under section 3(1) of the Manipur Municipalities Act, 1994 (No. 26 of 1994);
3. (c) “State Government” means the State Government of Manipur.
