The Manipur Land Laws (Amendment and Validation of Proceedings) Act, 1976

This Act amends the Manipur Land Revenue and Land Reforms Act to validate a specific amendment made in 1976, ensuring it is considered valid from 1964. It validates all past appointments, powers, and orders given to government officials that were technically incorrect under the law, making them legal and effective. It also excludes the time gap between when an order was made and when this Act came into force from the appeal period, allowing people to file appeals without time running out. Finally, it repeals two earlier ordinances to consolidate the legal framework.
