This Act amends the Manipur Highways Act, 1979 to correct spelling errors in section notes and update legal references, such as changing the Limitation Act from 1908 to 1963. It repeals the Manipur Highways Ordinance, 1979 and the Bombay Highways Act, 1955 to consolidate state laws, ensuring that previous actions under these repealed laws continue in force unless inconsistent with this new Act. The legislation applies to the whole of Manipur and specifically excludes central government construction projects from its scope.
