BE it enacted by the Legislature of Manipur in the Forty-Seventh Year of the Republic of India asfollowsz— 1. Short title, extent and commenCement.—(l) This Act may be called the Manipur Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains (Qecond Amendment) Act, 1996. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Manipur. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may. by notification in the official

In clause (a) of section 2 of the Manipur Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1976, for the words “One hundred years”, the words “seventy five years” shall be substituted.
