Chapter I PRELIMINARY
Statutory text
- (1) This Act may be called the Maharashtra Water Conservation Corporation Act, 2000.
- (2) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Maharashtra excluding the notified cantonment and urban areas, but shall cover irrigation project schemes having irrigable command area upto 1[600] hectares.
- (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 22nd August 2000.
