The Poona Mutha River Flood Limits (Prohibition of Building) and Provision for Alternative Building Sites (Repeal) and Indemnity Act, 1965

This Act may be called the Poona Mutha River Flood Limits (Prohibition of Building) and Provision for Alternative Building Sites (Repeal) and Indemnity Act, 1965.

The Poona Mutha River Flood Limits (Prohibition of Building) and Provision for Alternative Building Sites Act, 1951, is hereby repealed.

No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against the State Government or any officer or authority for anything in good faith done or intended to be done under the Act hereby repealed.

SECTION 4. Notwithstanding the repeal of the Poona Mutha River Flood Limits (Prohibition of Building) and Provision for Alternative Building Sites Act, 1951, anything done or any action taken (including any order made, notification issued, or requisition effected) under the Act so repealed shall be deemed to have been validly done or taken and shall not be called in question in any court of law on the ground that the Act so repealed was not in force at the time when such thing was done or action was taken.
