Extension of certain enactments amending Act IV of 1936 to whole State

For the purpose of providing for the uniform application of the Payment of Wages Act, 1936, throughout the State of Maharashtra, the enactments mentioned in the Schedule which amend that Act in its application to the State of Bombay are hereby extended to, and shall by virtue of such extension be in force in, those parts of the State of Maharashtra to which the enactments did not extend immediately before the commencement of this Act; and accordingly, the Payment of Wages Act, 1936 shall on the commencement of this Act be deemed to be amended also in those parts of the State.
