Chapter V FINANCE, BUDGET AND ACCOUNTS
Statutory text
- (1) The Metropolitan Authority shall keep accounts in such form and in such manner as it may by regulations made in this behalf determine.
- (2) The accounts of the Metropolitan Authority shall be audited by the Chief Auditor, Local Fund Accounts 1[or by any other auditor appointed by the State Government from time to time].
- (3) The audit shall be made in such manner as may be determined by regulations.
- (4) The auditor shall submit his audit report to the Metropolitan Authority and shall forward a copy thereof to the State Government.
