The Central Provinces and Berar Grants-in-aid to Local Bodies (Repeal) Act, 1966

This law officially removes the Central Provinces and Berar Grants-in-aid to Local Bodies Act of 1948 from the statute books. The repealed 1948 Act had previously governed how financial assistance was provided to local governing bodies in that region. By repealing it, the government consolidates or updates the legal framework for these grants. However, the law includes a provision ensuring that any grants already issued or orders made under the old act remain valid, provided they do not conflict with any new laws currently in force.
