Penalty for contravention of section 26 or 27

If any default is made in holding a meeting of the corporation in accordance with section 26, or in complying with any directions of the State Government under sub-section

1. (1) of section 27, the corporation and every officer thereof who is in default, shall, on conviction, be punished with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees.
