SCHEDULE I
The Bombay Metropolitan Region Development Authority Act, 1974[See clause (b) of section 2] The Bombay Metropolitan Region shall comprise the whole of the area of Greater Bombay and the parts of Thana and Kolaba Districts within the following boundaries, namely :— WEST .. Arabian Sea, NORTH .. Tansa River, EAST .. Eastern limits of Kalyan and Bhiwandi Talukas, up to the foot hills of Sahyadri in Karjat Taluka. SOUTH — Patalganga river upto villages Apta and Gulsunde, and then eastern boundary of the following villages of Pen Taluka :— Dusvi, Koshankhar, Nindarkhar, Navkhar, Kharbeloli, Beloli, Ambivali, Davansar, Ramraj, Dhavte; and then southern boundary of the following villages of Pen Taluka :— Vadgaon, Maleghar, Kandla, Naygaon and Shilottarjang; and then further southern boundary of the following villages of Alibag Taluka :— Shahapur, Bhangar, Poyand, Ambeghar, Trigaon, Gan, Gav Tarf Parhar Sagaon, Taloli, Khandala, Veshvi and Alibag.
