Short title, extent and commencement

- (1) This Act may be called the Maharashtra Tax on Entry of Motor Vehicles into Local Areas, 1987.
- (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Maharashtra.
- (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 30th day of September 1987.
