Definitions

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,—

1. (a) “ administrator ”, “ committee ” and “ society ” shall have the meanings assigned to them in the Co-operative Societies Act;
2. (b) “ specified society ” means a society belonging to any of the categories mentioned in section 73G of the Co-operative Societies Act;
3. (c) “ the Co-operative Societies Act ” means the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960.
