Chapter I PRELIMINARY
Statutory text
- (1) This Act may be called the Maharashtra Public Libraries Act, 1967.
- (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Maharashtra.
- (3) It shall come into force on such date1 as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in that behalf; and different dates may be appointed for bringing this Act into force in different areas of this State.
