Statutory text
(1) Whoever contravenes the provisions of section 3 shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years and with fine which may extend to Rs. 1,00,000. (2) Whoever contravenes any provisions other than section 3 of this Act or the rules made thereunder, shall be punished with fine which shall not be less than Rs. 50,000 but which may extend to Rs. 3,00,000.
