After section 1 of the Maharashtra Official Languages Act, 1964

(hereinafter referred to as the principal Act ) the following shall be inserted, namely :

Short title.

Insertion of new section 1A in Mah. V of 1965.

1A. The official language of the State of Maharashtra shall be Marathi. .
