Validation of certain proceedings and orders
The Maharashtra Industrial Relation to (Validation of Certain Proceedings) Act, 1972Notwithstanding anything contained in any judgment, decree or order of any court, but subject to the provisions of the Bombay Industrial Relations Act, 1946, or as the case may be, the Central Provinces and Berar Industrial Disputes Settlement Act, 1947, all proceedings held and all orders passed by any person appointed as a Judge of a Labour Court or as a member of the Industrial Court under the said Acts, being proceedings or orders held or passed during the period commencing on the 9th day of April, 1971 and ending on the 10th day of November, 1972, shall be and shall be deemed always to have been validly held or passed, as if such person had been duly appointed as such Judge or member under the said Acts, and such proceedings or orders shall not be called in question in any court or before any authority on the ground only that the appointment of such person was not made in accordance with the provisions of the said Acts.
