(1) This Act may be called the Maharashtra Forest Development (Tax on sale of forest-produce by Government or Forest Development Corporation) Act, 1983. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Maharashtra. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 7th December 1982.
