Power to amend Schedules II and III.

1[16-A. Power to amend Schedules II and III. 2[(1)] The State Government may, from time to time, by notification in the Official Gazette, amend the Schedule II or Schedule III, by adding or modifying or deleting any entry therein and thereupon, the said Schedule shall be deemed to have been amended accordingly: 3[Provided that, such Schedules, after such amendment, shall be in conformity with the minimum terms and conditions with minimum entitlements, specified in Schedule I or, as the case may be, Schedule II to the Central Act, for the time being in force.] 4[(2) A copy of every notification issued under sub-section (1) shall be laid, as soon as may be, after it is issued, before each House of the State Legislature.] 5[* * *]]
