Power to cause investigation to be made into educational institutions

Where the State Government is of opinion that any educational institution is being managed in a manner detrimental to the public interest, the State Government may make or cause to be made an investigation into the circumstances of the case by such person or body of persons as it may appoint for the purpose. The person or body of persons shall, after making the investigation, submit his or its report in that behalf to the State Government. In making such investigation the person in charge of the institution shall be given an opportunity of being heard in relation to any matter pertaining to such investigation.
