In section 31 of the principal Act, for the words "one member", the words "such number of members as may be prescribed" shall be substituted.

Amendment of section 32 Amendment of section 32. In section 32 of the principal Act,

1. (1) for the words "one member", the words "such number of members as may be prescribed" shall be substituted;
2. (2) the following proviso shall be added, namely:— " Provided that the State Government may by notification in the Official Gazette, prescribe different number of members for different classes of societies."
