Explanation :- For the purposes of this Section and Section 8 the expression "member of a family" means wife, husband, father, mother, 'son, or unmarried daughter.

Power to exempt societies or class of societies from conditions as to registration: Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, the State Government, by general or special order, exempts any society or class of societies from any of the requirements of this Act as to registration, subject to such conditions (if any) as it may impose.
