Short title, extent and commencement.

- (1) This Act may be called 1[the Maharashtra Bhagdari and Narwadari Tenures Abolition Act].
- (2) It extends to the whole of the 2[Bombay area of the State of Maharashtra].
- (3) It shall come into force on such date as the Provincial Government may by notification in the Official Gazette specify.
