- (1) This Act may be called 2[the Maharashtra Bandhijama, Udhad and Ugadia Tenures Abolition Act].
- (2) It extends to the Kaira, Broach, Surat and Thana districts of the State of Bombay.
- (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
