This Act lists offices under the Government whose holders are not disqualified from being members of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly on the ground that they hold an office of profit. These include the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the State Legislative Council, Deputy Ministers, Parliamentary Secretaries, the Advocate General, Government Pleaders, Public Prosecutors, Official Receivers, Sarpanches of irrigation panchayats, and offices in the National Cadet Corps and Auxiliary Air Force.
