Received the assent of the President on the 22nd July, 1987; assent first published in the "Madhya Pradesh Gazette (Extraordinary), dated the 1st August, 1987 An Act to provide for the taking over in the public interest of the management of the Samrat Ashok Technological Institute (Degree) Vidisha, run and managed by Maharaja Jiwajirao Education Society, Vidisha, for the limited period in order to secure proper management thereof with the object of generally improving the academic atmosphere and maintenance of better educational standards in the field of Engineering and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Be it enacted by the Madhya Pradesh Legislature in the Thirty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows :-
